Competition winner – Luke Armigere

A few months ago we ran a competition to name the new British based Holden Championship. After much debate, the suggestion "UK V8 Supercars", submitted by Luke Armigere was chosen. So congratulations to our competition winner from Braintree, Essex.  As the winner, he will receive two tickets to all of the championship rounds throughout the inaugural 2016 season. The name will be displayed in two formats; formally written as UK V8 Supercars, and shortened to UKV8S. The name was selected because it incorporated all of the important factors of the championship. We hope you agree and that the name provides a strong base on which to build the new championship on and we look forward to getting all the cars out together for the first race next year!
